Christmas has come early for two EuroMillions players in Ireland after they won big in the Plus draw on Friday night.

The top prize for the evening was the €17 million jackpot.

The numbers in Friday evening’s first draw were 5, 24, 30, 31, 43 and the Lucky Stars were 3 and 6.

And while there was no overall winner in the main draw, two players did win big on the EuroMillions Plus draw.

The numbers that came up in the Plus draw were 4, 6, 22, 30 and 48.

The winning tickets, sold in the Mid-West and in Dublin, are now worth €500,000 each.

Meanwhile, 10 players had their numbers drawn in the €5,000 Ireland only raffle.

It comes as the Lotto urged players in Meath to double check their tickets, after a €500,000 prize was unclaimed.

The winning €7 Quick Pick ticket was purchased on Monday 25th September at the Kilmoon Service Station in Ashbourne, Co. Meath.

Usually, players can bide their time before claiming their winnings, however, because of the festive period, players only have until December 28 to claim their prize.

The winning numbers for the EuroMillions Plus prize were:

17, 31, 37, 40, 46.

National Lottery Chief Executive, Dermot Griffin, said that they are asking players to check their tickets carefully.

He added:

“The deadline for this prize is December 28 and we would love to see the winner or winners in our Winners’ Room so they can celebrate the holiday season in style.”
