Reports this morning state that seven people have been killed by a lone gunman in Kalamazoo County, Michigan.
CNN reports that the shootings took place at three different locations but police believe the incidents are related.
Speaking to CNN affiliate, WOOD-TV, Kalamazoo County Undersheriff Paul Matyas said:
“What it looks like is we have someone just driving around, finding people and shooting them dead in their tracks”.
“This is your worst nightmare, when you have somebody just driving around randomly killing people”.
After the arrest, Sheriff Matyas said: “The threat to the public is over. We know this is our suspect. He is in custody”.
