The condition of a nurse who was diagnosed with Ebola has reportedly deteriorated.
According to reports, Pauline Cafferkey is now in a critical condition in the Royal Free Hospital in North London.
The Scottish nurse had recently returned home after volunteering in West Africa and was diagnosed with the deadly virus on her return to Glasgow.
“The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is sorry to announce that the condition of Pauline Cafferky has gradually deteriorated over the past two days and is now critical,” read a statement from the hospital today.
Cafferkey was originally in isolation at a Glasgow Hospital but was later transferred to the London hospital.
