Ryanair has confirmed that they have cancelled 108 flights today due to strike action in Italy.
It affects 108 of its flights in and out of Italy today from many European cities, with Dublin included on the list.

Ryanair released the following statement:
“We regret to advise customers that due to general strike in Italy on the 09th April, we have been forced to cancel flights.
Customers will be updated on their flight status via email and/or the mobile phone number provided at time of booking.
We ask customers to please monitor this notice which will be updated throughout the day. Ryanair sincerely apologises for any delays or inconvenience caused by these disruptions which are outside of our control.”
They are facilitating people with alternative flights or refunds.
