Some rail connections between Cork and Cobh have been suspended today after a body was discovered on the coastline.
The grim find was made this morning near Glounthane and emergency services attended the scene.
According to the Irish Times, a passenger travelling on the commuter train between Glounthane and Fota may have spotted the body and alerted Gardaí.
Line closed between Glounthaune & Middleton UFN due a Gardaí request. Cork to Cobh services are operating normally.
