Police in France has launched a hunt this afternoon for a young tiger that is on the loose near Disneyland Paris.
It is unclear where the tiger came from but the alarm was raised after a member of the public saw the animal in a supermarket and called the authorities.
Officers are believed to have been tracking the tiger since this morning in the Seine-et-Marne district and have now located the animal by following its paw prints.
According to Mirror Online, the tiger is currently hiding in bushes behind the town’s tennis courts and police are hoping to sedate it as it is an endangered species.
However, they have been given permission to kill the animal if it becomes dangerous or aggressive.
