Emergency services are at Dublin Airport this morning after two Ryanair planes clipped off one another on the runway.
No passengers have been injured in the incident which saw the wing tips of the two airplanes touch each other. One of the planes is believed to have been taxiing to a stand.
It has been reported that the fire tenders were used only as a precautionary measure.
A spokesperson for the Dublin Airport Authority has stated that the airport is fully operational although there are ‘minor’ delays to some flights.
She said the incident happened on a taxiing area. The main runways are not affected.

This section of the airport is now off-bounds for other aircraft, which will mean that arriving and departing planes will need to take a slightly longer route to and from the other runways.
Ryanair stated: “Two of our aircraft were taxiing slowly to the runway at Dublin Airpot this morning. The winglet of one aircraft appears to have scraped the tail of the other.
“There was no impact on customers on board…Ryanair apologises sincerely to customers for any inconvenience.
