Italian label DSquared2 are known for their quirky advertising campaigns and have snapped up supermodel in the making Cara Delevingne to debut their Resort collection in a short fashion film entitled Ultimate Scream.
The English beauty has been blazing a bit of a fashion trail this season having strutted her stuff on more than 50 catwalks during the Spring Summer 2013 fashion week shows not to mention the Victoria’s Secret runway earlier this month. But apart from striking a pose on the runway, the 19-year-old is famed for her face-pulling for the back stage cameras and it seems that the skinny blonde with arguably the best eyebrows since Brook Shields is adding acting to her already jam-packed resumé.
Directed by Senio Zaprider, the film which is essentially an homage to teen horror flick Scream depicts Cara modelling a series of 90s inspired outfits (Versace and Moschino influences are clear to see) including a hot pink power suit, lots of gaudy gold jewellery, ripped stonewash jeans and a healthy smattering of crop-tops. Even if the bright and colourful clothes don’t put you in a good mood, we guarantee the music will.
And we wouldn’t be surprised if this short film is the start of a budding acting career either!
