Mischa Barton was hospitalised on Thursday morning after police were called to her home.
Police allegedly received several phone calls about a disturbance in her West Hollywood home.
According to TMZ, Barton was speaking incoherently before the authorities arrived and at one point she stated “Oh my God, it’s over! I feel it, and it’s angry!”
Some media outlets are reporting that The OC actress may have overdosed.
Barton’s reps have not returned requests for comment at this time.
The 31-year-old has experienced mental health issues in the past and in 2009 she was placed in psychiatric care, she later described the ‘breakdown’ as ‘terrifying’.
