A man has been arrested after a couple were found dead at their home in Carndonagh, Donegal.
According to Donegal Daily, detectives are investigating the possibility that the man and his wife, both in their 70s, died as a “result of multiple wounds”.
A man was detained by the authorities when they were called to the scene. The house has been sealed off and the State Pathologist has been notified of the incident.
The area is said to be in a state of shock after hearing the news about the couple who are apparently well known.
