Hold the phone! Literally. (Not like this guy.)
There was a massive stampede to phone shops across the country today as the mobile networks announced that the iPhone 6 and the iPhone 6 Plus was available for pre-sale across the country.
Three and Meteor were the first to start the madness, making the phone available for pre-order online.
With Three, the new iPhone 6 will be available from €179 while the iPhone 6 Plus will be available from €279 on Three’s €55 per month plan.
Meanwhile the other networks have also announced their pricing. Meteor is accepting pre-orders online from this morning. The network has priced the iPhone 6 at €249 on its €39 per month contract, €149 on its €49 per month plan, and €499 for those who opt to pay just €19 each month.
O2 is offering the handset at €179.99 on their €55 monthly contract, €219.99 on their €39.73 contract, and €59.99 at €70 per month.
Each network is offering the phone to bill pay customers only on 24-month contracts.
Meanwhile, Vodafone also announced their price plans for the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, which you were able to register for online today.
The iPhone 6 and 6 Plus can also be purchased without a contract directly from Apple. Prices start at €699 for the regular model and €799 for the Plus.
