A vigil is set to take place on O’Connell Street this evening to show solidarity with the twelve people who died in France earlier today.
People are set to gather at The Spire from 7pm to support freedom of speech and the journalists who lost their lives in the massacre at the Charlie Hebdo offices .
Five others were critically wounded in the attack, which has been slammed as President François Hollande as a “terrorist operation”.
“France today faced a shock. Today I’m thinking about the victims,” he said.
