The Ireland AM Twitter account has been suspended after a message was sent out about water charges.
According to reports the tweet, which has since been deleted, read: “We all need to make a stand on December 10th!! @FineGael have taken, taken, taken. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! (Retweet spread the word)”.
Another tweet then said that the anti-water charges message did not reflect the opinion of Ireland AM and that the account would be suspended while the matter was investigated.
Clarification: Previous tweet addressing Fine Gael is not an Ireland AM opinion. Our Account will be frozen while we address this. Apologies
