Investigation launched into the death of Irish man in England

An investigation is currently underway into the suspicious death of Kilkenny native Kevin Kelly.

Kelly died following injuries he sustained in the early hours of Sunday morning in Luton.

Kelly originates from Goresbridge but according to Kclr96fm, had been living in Luton for some time.

According to Bedfordshire Police, Kelly was involved in an altercations in Luton shortly after 5am on Sunday morning. He was taken to hospital but died of the sustained injuries. One person has been brought in for questions but police continue a full investigation.

Kelly is the owner of a plastering company in Luton.

A GoFundMe page has been established  by fellow plasterers to assist the bereaved with funeral costs.

€930 has been raised in the first 10 hours.

The fundraising message reads:

“Supporting the tragic loss of one of our members of the plasterers talk group Kevin Kelly. Deepest sympathy and condolences to his family and close friends. May he rest in Peace.”
