American film and television actress Shirley Temple has died. She was 85.

The acclaimed actress was a huge star even before she even turned 10 years of age, with her on-screen influence being greatly regarded as monumental on the child stars of modern-day cinema.

The Hollywood star died this Monday at her home in California, from natural causes.

“She was surrounded by her family and caregivers,” a statement from her family said.

“We salute her for a life of remarkable achievements as an actor, as a diplomat, and… our beloved mother, grandmother [and] great-grandmother.”

Some of Shirley’s most adorable and memorable cinema moments include singing “On the Good Ship Lollipop”, dancing to “Oh Susanna” from The Little Colonel and performing Stowaway:

May she rest in peace.
