An internet fundraising campaign to raise money to assist Karen Buckley’s family has raised over €40,000 to date.
The campaign was set up on Wednesday evening with the aim to raise £5,000.
At the time of writing, almost 1,600 people had donated £28,662 (€39,887) to help the family to cover travel and accommodation costs in Glasgow.
The page, which was set up by friends of Ms. Buckley, was updated to say that it will close at 6.30pm tonight (Thursday).
