Don’t Suppose you Felt the Two Earthquakes this Morning?

The earthquakes took place this morning.

If you felt an odd rumble in your home this morning it was probably one of the pair of earthquakes that was taking place in the Irish Sea.

Two earthquakes struck the east coast early this morning according to the British Geological Survey.

The group recorded two separate quakes of differing magnitudes off Ireland’s east coast with people experiencing tremors across the water in the UK.

The first of the quakes was measured at a magnitude of 2.4 on the Richter scale at around 5.37am, while the second was a stronger 3.3 magnitude, at 9.58am.

This isn’t the first time that we’ve had quakes in the waters surrounding us but none have ever been on a large scale.

There have been no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

Both of the quakes are classified as being minor on the scale so the chances are people would’ve just felt some minor shakes.
