A large construction crane fell in Lower Manhattan on Broadway this morning in the neighbourhood of Tribeca, BBC News reports.
The Fire Department of New York has confirmed that one individual has been killed and at least fifteen have been injured.
The crane filled the street and crushed numerous parked cars.
According to The New York Post: ‘The crane – which was swinging a wrecking ball — toppled over on Worth Street between West Broadway and Church Street at 8:24 a.m., crushing several cars parked on the street.’
