A suspected device has been discovered on Mill Street, Dublin 8, this afternoon.
According to the Garda Press Office, the device was located around 2.30pm this afternoon and an EOD (explosive ordnance disposal) team is en route to the scene.
Kevin Street Garda Station is said to be investigating. Roads in the immediate vicinity have been closed off until further notice. There have been no evacuations as it is not a residential street.
