This story is breaking.
According to multiple news outlets, an Afriqiyah Airways flight has landed in Malta amid reports of a ‘hijacking’.
It’s thought that the internal flight, carrying 118 passengers, was on route to Tripoli when it was diverted.
Sky News reports that there are two hijackers on board and they threatened to blow up the aircraft.
Emergency services and special forces teams are now at the scene.
