Bow Wow was arrested and charged with battery last night following a fight with a woman.
The US rapper, whose real name is Shad Moss, is accused of assaulting a woman named Leslie Holden during an altercation that occurred in Atlanta.
Police could not determine who started the fight so they arrested and charged both parties.
Bow Wow is currently out on bond and says that he was “wrongfully arrested.”
Local news source WSB-TV reports that Bow Wow said he was “beaten by an out of control intoxicated female” and that he is “the victim in this case.”

A statement reads:
“Ms. Holden beat him with a lamp, bit him on his side, and spit on him while Bow Wow continually made efforts to avoid her.
“Bow Wow suffered multiple injuries, some of which are visible in his mugshot. Ms. Holden’s mugshot on the other hand speaks for itself, despite her allegation to police that she broke a fingernail.”
It is unclear whether Holden has bonded out too. She has yet to comment on the incident.
Bow Wow is best known for his songs ‘Bounce With Me,’ ‘Let Me Hold You,’ and ‘Bow Wow.’ He released his first album at age 13 under the stage name ‘Lil Bow Wow’ before eventually dropping the ‘Lil’ a few years later.
He announced his retirement from rap in 2016.
