Strike action which has affected businesses and homes nationwide this week has reportedly been suspended.
The Communications’ Workers Union has stated that industrial action at IO Systems has come to a halt this evening.
The union stated that An Post are expected to “immediately restore full service across the National Postal System.”
An Post has welcomed the news and added that customers may resume posting mail and that normal service levels should be restored over the coming days.
