Al Porter has made his first appearance since the sexual misconduct allegations were made against him.
The former TodayFM presenter went along to the Olympia Panto on Thursday afternoon to see the dress rehearsal of the show. While he stepped down from his role within the show, he still co-wrote it so he was there on a writing capacity.
According to The Sunday World, he was there on Thursday evening before the show officially opened on Friday.
A source told them, “He met members of the cast and wished them well. Al sat through the rehearsal and seemed to enjoy it.”
The source also said that Karl Spain’s name is only one to feature on the show’s brochure, even though he co-wrote it with Al.
A number of men have spoken publicly about inappropriate advances they say they’ve had from Al. Another allegation was made by a former patient of St. Patrick’s Hospital against Al during a visit he paid to the hospital in August 2015.
