Following two weather warnings issued over the last 24 hours, a third is now in place.
A rainfall warning has been issued for Connacht, Cavan, Monaghan, Donegal, Dublin, Kildare, Laois, Longford, Louth, Wicklow, Offaly, Westmeath, Meath, Clare, Kerry, Limerick and Tipperary.
It was issued this evening at 6 pm and is in place until 6 pm tomorrow on 25 December with up to accumulations of 25 to 35 mm expected.

It follows an earlier warning issued for Connacht, Donegal and Clare that predicted “heavy rain at times today and overnight. 25 to 35 mm likely”.
