A yellow weather warning is in place for Munster, Connacht and Leinster with temperatures expected to drop as low as -5 degrees in some areas over night.
The warning is in place from 9 o’clock tonight until 9am on Thursday, December 1st.
Met Éireann has said, “Frost will become widespread tonight except for Ulster where skies will remain cloudier and temperatures positive. Lowest values tonight 0 to -5 degrees generally, but 0 to +3 degrees over more northern counties. Fog will also develop again in the almost calm conditions.”
Then tomorrow, “Frost and fog will be slow to clear and temperatures will only reach 2 to 4 degrees generally, but milder across Ulster and more northern parts of Leinster where temperatures will be around 6 to 8 degrees under cloudier skies.”
The outlook for the weekend is looking mainly dry but will also bring sub zero temperatures at times.
