A 19-year-old woman has died after the car she was travelling in hit a ditch at Dreenan, in Ballybofey, Co. Donegal, this morning.
The single vehicle crash occurred at approximately 4.25am this morning.
The 19-year-old woman was a front seat passenger in the car. The driver of the car, a 19-year-old male, was taken to hospital where he was treated for minor injuries.
No other people or vehicles were involved in the incident.

The road is closed and diversions are in place.
