Years and Years has been announced as BBC Sound of 2015 winners, the end of a momentous and career-changing 12 months for bandmates Olly, Emre and Mikey.
24-year-old singing songwriting sensation James Bay was revealed as the runner-up yesterday, and today the trio join Sam Smith, Jessie J, Haim and Adele as winners of the accolade.
Combined, their first single ‘Real’ and its follow-ups, ’Take Shelter’ and the chart-bothering ‘Desire’, have almost 9 million views.
Years & Years will release their brand new single ‘King‘ on February 27th and their hugely anticipated debut album will be released in June via Polydor records.
