Ireland are through to the final of this year’s Eurovision Song Contest.
Ryan Dolan qualified, along with 15 other acts, with his song Only Love Survives last night.
The County Tyrone singer finished in the top ten and will take to the stage to represent the country next weekend.
Speaking about it to RTÉ, he said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be through to the final on Saturday night. I have such as amazing team behind me.
“It was nerve wrecking sitting in the Green Room area waiting for the results. When they called Ireland and my name I was so excited and relieved all in one go – it was such a rush. We’re really looking forward to celebrating with all the crew tonight.”
And yes we know it’s all a bit cheesy but we’ll definitely be tuning in to support Ryan next Saturday!
