The relationship a man has with his facial hair is truly a special thing. To us womenfolk it’s also a bit weird, slightly creepy and totally irrational.
If you’ve ever gone out with a fella who has a bit of hair on his face, chances are you will have noticed that he takes an immense amount of pride in his ability to grow some fuzz on his chin.
Now don’t get us wrong, here at Her.ie there’s nothing we love more than a good beard (our deputy ed Naoimh is actually a bit obsessed with them).
But honestly? We just don’t get the ridiculous amount of love a man showers upon his facial hair. It confuses us.
We stumbled across this hilarious video by aptly-named band The Beards which attempts to explain why hairy men love keeping their faces warm with a beard.
Be warned, the ending gets a little crazy but it’s all in good, beard-appreciative fun… eh, although we think we’ll shave our men when we get home tonight… just to be on the safe side…
