It’s day of celebrating the black stuff, of painting the town black, of us raising a pint to Arthur.
Get ready to celebrate the man who invented the world-famous pint of Guinness this evening. One minute to 6pm, or 17:59 is the time you should raise your pint in appreciation, a reference to the year the brewery was established… but if you’ll be sitting at a desk, feeding the kids or in the college library (we doubt this one) at the time, we’ve tried to create the atmosphere for you here on this page.
