While Irish band The Original Rudeboys decided to walk away from supporting him at a gig recently, British boy band The Wanted will be stepping into the studio with Chris Brown.
The Chasing The Sun singers have agreed to a duet with him but are expecting a bit of a backlash for the move. One of the boys explained that they are hoping that if the music is good, their fans won’t mind as much.
Chris Brown is said to be eager to work with the boy band.
“Chris Brown wants to get in the studio with us and we’re going to go out there before Christmas to sing and write,” Jay McGuiness told the Metro.
He added: “I mean, we’ll possibly get a backlash. He still gets a lot of flak for everything that’s gone on.” As most people know Brown was convicted of assaulting Rihanna back in 2009.
Jay continued: “We are nervous but if the song’s a good song… but, yeah, it’s something we’re definitely thinking about.”
The Original Rudeboys said no to supporting Brown during a gig.
