The Sunday Sessions’ 12 Songs of Christmas will see some of our favourite up-and-coming Irish acts cover classic festive tracks in an exclusive acoustic performance brought to you live from The Workman’s Club, Dublin.
Stevie Martin a.k.a Rainy Boy Sleep, who hails from the glorious Co. Derry, has us reminiscing about heartbreak and the ghosts of Christmas past with his brilliant rendition of Wham’s Last Christmas.
With his distinct folktronica sound, clever songwriting and lyrics that beautifully combine the subjects of love, loss, hope and redemption, polished of with the perfect touch of dark humour, it comes as no surprise that Rainy Boy Sleep is one of the latest signings to the Universal Music umbrella.
