The Big Interview: Her.ie Meets Heathers

There's no denying it, Heathers are a band that are seriously shaking up the Irish music scene. Her.ie caught up with Ellie and Louise Macnamara to have a chat about musical influences, the joys of touring and working with David Guetta...

They’re the women that brought the nation that Discover Ireland tune (the ridiculously catchy Remember When), and with the release of their second album, Kingdom, twin sisters Ellie and Louise Macnamara have firmly proven that they’re a musical force to be reckoned with.

The girls started writing and singing together back in 2007 and recorded their debut album, the hugely successful Here, Not There, while they were busy studying for their Leaving Certificate.

Recently Her.ie had the pleasure of sitting down for a cuppa with Ellie and Louise in the Davenport Hotel and having a chat about their influences, the perils of recording a second album and how amazing it is to be asked to write for David Guetta.
