Next up to play JOE and Her.ie’s Sunday Sessions is Rosie Carney.
Based in Donegal but originally from Hampshire UK, 18-year-old singer/songwriter Rosie made a big impression when she burst onto the scene with Other Voices in 2013.
Since then she has been going from strength to strength, working on new music and gigging across the UK and Ireland.
Rosie’s sweet and soothing brand of acoustic folk went down a treat on the Body & Soul stage at this year’s Electric Picnic, and we are thrilled that she will be joining us for Sunday Sessions Live 2 at Whelans on October 22nd (get free tickets here).
She joined us in Whelan’s this week to give us a taster of what we can expect, performing her single Winter and a gorgeous cover of Cyndi Lauper’s Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.
