Singing nun Cristina Scuccia has signed a record deal with Universal, after being named the winner of The Voice Of Italy.
The nun became a global sensation when she was first spotted on the reality show performing a cover of Alicia Keys’ No One and subsequently beat off competition in several rounds of the competition to take the title.
Scuccia also got the opportunity to duet with Kylie Minogue in the later stages of the show but has vowed to return to her normal routine now that the competition has finished.
“I will go back to my priorities – prayer, waking up early in the morning, school service. That’s fundamental for me to be able to begin something new later on,” she said.
