Calling all Rolling Stones fans!

The rock band have just confirmed their first live shows for five years with four gigs, including two nights in London that we have our fingers crossed for… we might just be able to make it!

The group confirmed online that they would play a pair of shows at London’s O2 Arena, as well as two concerts at the Prudential Centre in Newark, New Jersey.

Frontman Sir Mick Jagger spoke to Radio 2 presenter Chris Evans this morning and said that the band would play a small number of shows this year before a longer series of dates.

In a video message the group said: “Soon we’ll be back on stage playing for you in two cities that know how to rock and roll.”

The London shows take place on November 25th and 29th, while the US shows are lined up for December 13th and 15th.

The Stones last played live during their A Bigger Bang tour which finished up in 2007.

WE WANT YOU! The guys are celebrating their 50th anniversary in the music industry.

The group have recorded two new songs, Doom And Gloom and One More Shot, which will be included in a repackaged greatest hits collection called Grrr!. The album will be released on November 12th and absolutely nothing has changed, the guys are still rocking it like it’s twenty years ago…

The rumour mill has been turning and we’ve heard the guys are set to take Glastonbury by storm next year…

We’ll keep you in the loop…
