It has been a great week for Damien Rice fans, as the Kildare native announced details of his third studio album and today confirmed a headline show.
Rice, who surprised fans with a pop-up gig in Dublin’s Whelan’s at the start of the summer that sold out in a matter of seconds, is confirmed to play Dublin’s Bord Gáis Energy Theatre on November 3rd.
The 40-year-old released a short clip of his upcoming single, My Favourite Faded Fantasy, and the eagerly anticipated forthcoming album of the same title, was co-produced by the highly esteemed Rick Rubin.
Rubin, founder of Def Jam Records, is responsible for many of the greatest career comeback albums and has produced numerous platinum-selling and award winning records.
