The singer has revealed that it wouldn't be out of the realms of possibility for the girls to come back when they are in their 60s.

Just when we thought we’d seen the end of girl power and the Spice Girls, Mel C comes along and says she wouldn’t rule out another reunion.

Sporty Spice, who is currently preparing to take the stage in the Jesus Christ Superstar Arena Tour, revealed that even when the girls are in their 60s they might take to the stage again.

According to reports she said: “We keep putting the age limit up. I think I’ll raise the bar to 65.” Now that really would be impressive, or perhaps slightly disturbing!

The girls joined forces for the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympic Games earlier this summer and to be fair put on a pretty good show.

Speaking about it Mel, who appeared on the Late Late Show, said: “We knew there was a lot of pressure on us. But we rehearsed for eight days… we showed we still had it.”

All five of the Spice Girls took to the stage for this year’s Olympic Games.

But as with every time they get together rumours were rife of feuds and fights within the band who rose to fame in the 90s with songs including ‘Wannabe’ and ‘Spice Up Your Life.’

Contrary to that Mel explained: “I think right now we are probably closer we ever have been. We’ve grown into ourselves and put things behind us.”

Oh really, and what sort of ‘things’ are you talking about there Sporty?
