Following in the Rolling Stones’ revival footsteps, Fleetwood Mac are the latest band to embark on a reunion tour in 2012.
Frontwoman Stevie Nicks has confirmed that the group, comprising of guitarist Lindsey Buckingham, drummer Mick Fleetwood and bassist John McVie, have joined each other again to mark the 35th anniversary of their iconic 1977 album Rumours. Insiders say Christine McVie will not be joining the gang again.
“We go into rehearsals somewhere around the end of February. So if everything goes to plan, we should probably be out by end of April or May, I would think,” she told ABC News Radio.
There are also rumours that the reunited group, who haven’t been together since 2009, could headline the 2012 Glastonbury music festival.
