Irish favourites Ham Sandwich have announced that they will play an intimate, acoustic show at the Unitarian Church this December.

The White Fox indie rockers will release new track Apollo from their as-yet-untitled third album tomorrow and have just confirmed that they will host “An Acoustic Evening With Ham Sandwich” at the Unitarian Church on December 7th.

The gig is expected to showcase a reworking of tracks White Fox as well as a sneak preview of material from the new release, which guitarist and vocalist Podge McNamee said was a labour of love.

“The biggest change about this new album is that we’re majorly fussy about it. Most artists will say that the best ideas come easy, without much effort in the creative process, but that’s debateable. Throughout the gathering of the new material, we worked very hard and had many ideas for each song. Ultimately, we didn’t want to write anything contrived.”

Tickets priced at €20 go on sale from www.ticketmaster.ie tomorrow, Friday 31 October. The gig is over-14s and no alcohol will be served.
