You’ll never guess who is going to host this year’s MTV European Music Awards. No really, you’ll NEVER guess.
It’s Heidi Klum, which does actually make sense considering its being held in her home country but doesn’t really make sense in that we never really knew she was that into music. You know from when we’ve spoken to her and all!
Supermodel Heidi will be hosting the awards show in November.
The supermodel has just been announced as the host of this year’s awards show which takes place in Frankfurt in November.
Speaking about her newly-appointed role, she reportedly said: “I’m honoured to host the 2012 MTV EMA in its return to my home country of Germany.
“The MTV EMA is one of the biggest nights in global music, fashion and culture, and I’m thrilled to play a part in bringing this one-of-a-kind show to audiences all over the world. We’re going to have a blast!”
Heidi has had experience in hosting before on television.
And it won’t be the first time Seal’s former half will be in charge of the microphone. She also hosted Project Runway and Germany’s Next Top Model.
You can catch Heidi and the cream of the music crop, including Rihanna who is up for six awards, on November 11th. Can’t wait to see what gossip will come out of that night!
