Amidst all the rumours that the band are splitting up and that things have been rocky behind the scenes, One Direction are actually apparently back in studio.
According to reports, the chart-topping boyband are beginning to record their fifth album, before hitting the road again for their tour in February.
Indeed, it’s been a pretty hectic schedule for the lads in the last few months, with promotion of their most recent album Four coupled with preparations for their upcoming tour.
“There has been a bit of a question about the timing of the fifth album but there was never any doubt it would be released, despite the ridiculous speculation,” a source told The Sun.
“Initially, the guys thought they might want more time away from the studio because they’ve been busy promoting Four.
“But they’ve been itching to get back recording again because it’s what they love to do, so it’s full steam ahead,” the source continued.
Great news for One Directioners who, to be fair, never really doubted that the band would stick together.
