Doing Anything Tonight? Why Not Enjoy Some Great Tunes for Charity?

Fancy getting out of the house tonight? Why not head to Whelan's for some great music in aid of charity?

Are you looking for something to do night? If so, why not head to Whelan’s on Wexford Street where you can listen to some epic music and help out a decent children’s charity while you’re at it?

War Child Ireland is holding an indie rock night at Whelan’s tonight featuring the musical stylings of Donegal based band The Plea and Meath based rock group Red Queen Contest.

The Plea will be offering up some cool, crisp indie/rock tunes that will most definitely get you up and dancing, while Red Queen Contest will be on hand to up the ante and ensure that everyone in the room is singing along by the end of the night.

Do your bit for charity by getting glammed up and having an epic night out!

The gig starts at 8pm tonight and you can get a ticket on the door, or grab one at warchild.ie. If you attend the gig tonight, you’ll also get free entry into Whelan’s Indie/Electro club from 10.30pm – sounds like a fair deal to us.

All money raised as a result of the gig tonight will go to War Child Ireland, a charity that protects marginalised children in areas of the world that are acutely affected by conflict. For more information about War Child Ireland, you can check out their website here.
