The latest in the Garth Brooks saga is that President Obama is being asked to intervene.
Following on from the news that Taoiseach Enda Kenny is eager to make sure all five gigs take place at Croke Park, another world leader is apparently getting involved.
The Lord Mayor of Dublin City, Christy Burke, has revealed that some of the residents living near the venue have contacted the US Embassy asking Obama to help.
He told Morning Ireland: “I had a group of residents from Ballybough who said they intend to call Mr Obama to try to encourage Garth Brooks to play in Dublin”.
