With all these festivals you are really spoiling us…
Earlier today we shared the news that Oxegen 2012 IS a go and will take place on the August Bank Holiday weekend.
Now though, comes the news that so many more of us more mature (ahem), festival goers have been waiting for.
The image above is a screengrab of the info that appeared this afternoon on electricpicnic.ie.
According to the festival website, Electric Picnic will return for it’s 10th Anniversary Edition this summer, running from Friday August 30th to Sunday September 1st.
The line-up is due to be announced this coming Thursday, April 25th, with tickets to go on sale on Saturday, April 27th.
What really caught out eye, however, was the pricing structure for tickets. Early birds can buy tickets up to May 27th for €189.50, but it’s twenty quid less if you can prove you’ve been once before, and €40 less if you can prove you’ve been three times.
It’s a nice move to reward the regular Picnic goers, of whom there are plenty. All we need know is a cracking line-up and some August/September sun.
