Every month, we’ll be talking about the most famous cars that have appeared on the big screen and will always be remembered for that very reason.
This month, we’re taking a closer look at the Ford Gran Torino from, you guessed it, Gran Torino…
First and foremost, Gran Torino is a great film starring the legend that is Clint Eastwood. In the drama, he gets wrapped up in the gang war in his neighbourhood after agreeing to help out a local kid.
Secondly, it has one of the most beautiful cars known to man in it: the Ford Gran Torino. More specifically, the 1972 Gran Torino Sport.
During that year, the car maker made almost half a million Torinos but only 92,000 or so were sport models which makes it pretty special.
Let’s just say, we’re not surprised somebody tries to steal the car in the film!
