Every month, we’ll be talking about the most famous cars that have appeared on the big screen and will always be remembered for that very reason.
This month, we’re taking a closer look at the 1981 DeLorean DMC-12 from Back To The Future…
It is probably one of the most recognisable cars in the world and quite rightly so considering it had a major part in one of the most successful film franchises of all time.
The DeLorean (as it commonly known) may have helped Doc Brown and Marty McFly travel back in time onscreen but in reality only a small number of them were actually produced.
The sports car, which was manufactured in Dunmurray in Northern Ireland, was different and easily identified with its gull-wing doors and stainless steel appearance.
When it was transformed into a time machine for Back to the Future, it quite rightly claimed it’s place in movie and motor history.
