Every month, we’ll be talking about the most famous cars that have appeared on the big screen and will always be remembered for that very reason.
This month, we’re taking a closer look at the Batmobile from Batman Begins…
The Batmobile has changed in form and models over the years but we’re looking at the one that has appeared in the most recent Batman film franchise, that being Christopher Nolan’s.
The car, known as the Tumbler, was designed by Chris Corbould and Andy Smith. Despite weighing 2.5 tons, it was capable of doing 0-60mph in under six seconds and a top speed of 110mph.
Throw in a few other gadgets and you’ve got what can only be described as a very cool car. Also, the fact that it is a real thing (not computer-generated) is rather impressive.
