And that is for no other reason, believe us, than the fact that Zac Efron wears them in his new movie. The only thing we are not a fan of is the fact that Nicole Kidman straddles him while he does so.
The 24-year old Hollywood heart-thob gets half-naked on screen for his new film, ‘The Paperboy’.
He stars alongside established actress Nicole Kidman in the tense, dark thriller.
The genre is a big change for young Efron, whose previous films include ‘High School Musical’, ’17 Again’ and ‘New Year’s Eve’. He is also the voice of ‘Ted’ in the recent animation, ‘Lorax’.
‘The Paperboy’ is set in the 60s and also stars John Cusack as a death row inmate, Matthew McConaughey as a reporter for the Miami Herald (and Zac’s older brother) and David Oyelowo.

Based on the novel by Peter Sexter, the story follows a reporter (McConaughey) who returns to his Florida hometown to investigate a case involving a death row inmate (John Cusack).
More inside information tells us that, besides dancing and getting jiggy with Efron, Kidman also pees on the ‘High School Musical’ star…due to a jellyfish sting.
The thriller had its debut at the Cannes Film Festival, is due for release in the USA in October and a UK and Ireland release date has yet to be announced.
Zac’s underwear doesn’t feature in the trailer, we’ll have to buy tickets to go see that, but check out the teaser here on Her.ie:
