“You’re A Bad Man” Brave Four-Year-Old Confronts Gunman In Kenyan Mall

A brave little soul...

There has been many heartbreaking stories coming out of Kenya following the attack on a mall in Nairobi which has resulted in the death of 67 people with hundreds other injured.

However, one truly touching story emerging from the tragedy was the bravery of a four-year-old boy who stood up for his injured mother.

Elliott Prior, who was trapped in the mall along with his mother Amber and six-year-old sister Amelie, confronted one of the gunmen in the mall, telling him he was “a bad man.”

Elliott’s mother had apparently been shot in the leg just before the incident took place. His uncle told The Sun that he was extremely “brave”.

It is understood that the gunman allowed the mother and her two children to leave the mall, professing that they never intended to hurt Britons but “Americans and Kenyans”.

He asked the mother if she would convert to Islam, to which she replied she would. He then replied “please forgive me, we are not monsters”.

It is understood Amber made herself known to the gunman when they asked if there were any children in the mall and managed to get both her children out of the building.

Elliott’s uncle confirmed to the Sun: “They had a lucky escape… the terrorists said that if any kids were alive in the supermarket they could leave. Amber made a decision to stand up and say yes”.

Kenya’s President Uhuru Kenyatta confirmed the siege on the mall ended a short time ago. Five attackers are thought to have been shot dead while a further 11 were taken into custody.
